    Sarah Verena Kalusche

  • Studied Biochemistry at the Goethe University Frankfurt and performed her master thesis on the selection of HIV-1 envelope-specific nanobodies from immunized dromedaries by phage display in the Dietrich group. In April 2016 she started her PhD thesis on the optimization of HIV neutralizing nanobodies for clinical applications.

    Sebastian Renelt

  • Sebastian studied biochemistry at the Goethe University in Frankfurt. He joined the GSH in 2013 for his diploma thesis on the generation and expression of mutant ccr5 variants. Since 2014 he performs his PhD on the infectability of human hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells by HIV-1 in vitro and in vivo.

    Oliver Ringel

  • Oliver studied biology at the Technical University in Darmstadt, where he also did his diploma thesis on DNA repair. Within his PhD, which he started in 2013, he selects HIV-1 neutralizing antibody fragments from immune phage libraries he generated from HIV controllers and performs preclinical analysis of a gp41 epitope within the European HIVERA consortium.

    Patricia Schult-Dietrich

  • Patricia studied biology at the University in Hamburg, where she also did her diploma on genetics of sooty moulds. After working four years in geriatric care, she began working as a technician at the Heinrich Pette Institute in Hamburg. Since 2000 she is working as technician at the GSH and since 2010 in the Dietrich group. Besides her experimental work, Patricia also is deputy project leader in the S3 lab.
